The Wind Farm problem is world wide as you can see from these photos. Let us learn from their mistakes and stop the wind farms. Turbine noise does exist and does destroy peoples lives. The noise you hear is that of a wind turbine. No one can answer our questions when we ask what the decibel level of the turbines proposed for this area will be, not even the developers. Why? Because not enough research has been done on them. The noise from these turbines can travel as far as 2 miles. If this wind farm goes through, these turbines will be placed approximately 1000 ft. from your property line. These turbines are 474 ft tall to the blade tip. The developers will try to tell you they won't collapse, but if they do, you better not be too close to your property line. As you can see in the last photo, birds will be killed. This area has a large number of waterfowl ponds which were funded by various organizations. Although this is a major fly way for geese and various other endangered and rare species, it seems they are not too concerned about the wildlife either!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS WIND TURBINE IS LOCATED IN NW MINNESOTA. THE PICTURE WAS SENT TO US BY A MEMBER OF WINDCOWS
A 10-year-old Vestas turbine near Århus, Denmark, spins out of control during a storm on Feb. 22, 2008. It effectively explodes when one of the blades hits the tower. According to a Feb. 25 report by Kent Kroyer in Ingeniøren, "large, sharp pieces of fiberglas from the blade rained down over the field east of the turbine, as far as 500 meters from the base of the turbine". Another collapse occurred in Sidinge [Vig?], Denmark, 2 days later: "one of the heavy blades flew 100 meters through the air and crashed to the ground with a boom". Kroyer continues: "It has not even been a month since a similar Vestas turbine at Ns in Gotland, Sweden, lost a blade in the same way as in Sidinge. In that case the blade flew 40 meters and hammered down in a field. A neighbor described the bang as 'a sonic boom or a car accident'. Before the New Year, a Vestas turbine in Northern England collapsed, and a month earlier a Vestas turbine collapsed in Scotland." Note that this is a 10-year-old 600-kW model and much smaller than today's behemoths.

WOULD YOU BUY THIS HOUSE????????????
Daniel and Carolyn d'Entremont of Nova Scotia set up at an information table at the mall. They and their children were forced to leave their home on Pubnico Point because of adverse health impacts from nearby wind turbines and low frequency noise.
"WIND FARM IN KANSAS"
Notice the lack of homes
Smoke pours from the top and bottom of one of the wind turbines at the Ewington Wind Farm near the Heron Lake exit north of Interstate 90 Wednesday morning. The Brewster and Okabena Fire Departments responded to the scene, but.................The advise to the fire department from the Suxlon Wind Energy officials.. Nothing we can do. Let it burn. Source
Yet another reason why adeqate are setbacksare inecessary? Would you like this 1000 feet from your home? The developers tell us that distance is safe and that trouble with wind turbines is rare, but two days ago in our neighboring state of Minnesota, this turbine caught fire along I-90. There was no way to put it out. This picture shows toxic flammable chemicals pouring down the tower into the soil. How would you like that in your corn field?
